Assignment 14A- Halfway Reflection
One behavior that I used to keep up with the
requirements of this course is time management. In this course, you have to be
on top of your assignments and the due dates. There is something due every few
days so you must always be aware of that. Another behavior that I use in this
class is the use of sticky notes and a planner. I recently forgot to submit a
url for an assignment and ended up losing 3 points. Now I have a little sticky
note on my computer telling me to paste the url. As I said before, assignments
are due every few days. I use a planner to keep myself organized. About a week
ago I had my first business statistics test. I started studying five days
before the exam and studied for about six hours each of those days. The day
before the exam I realized I still had a lot of formulas to memorize. I became
very stressed. Then I thought about the fact that the test would be over within
24 hours and that the class would be over in a little over two months. I knew I
had done all I could do knowing that I planned ahead and began studying five
days in advance. I become stressed often, so this is something I am constantly
experiencing. I just have to realize that a dumb test is not the end of the
world. Three tips that I would offer to next semester’s students would be to
use a planner and plan out all your assignments on Sundays, make sure you
prioritize your classes/assignments/tests, and to be as organized as possible
with all of your school materials.
Hey Madison, I just read your post and it was a good read. I completely agree with you that time management is important for this. For me personally, I always do the stuff for this class on Wednesday. I started doing this for every Wednesday and I now just naturally know when I should work on ENT stuff. I really like your tip about having a planner. I will go buy one.
ReplyDeleteHey Madison! Your post was very informative and it gave me some additional tips that I can use for my other classes. I thinking making a schedule on a planner is a phenomenal idea. I think writing something down can allow you to clear your head of it not be so stressed. Sticky notes are also a good idea for little reminders that you may forget. Planning ahead and having everything planned out is the best way to go. Great post Madison!
ReplyDeleteHey Madison! I had the same business statistics test and mannnnnn I was stressing. I should have studied way earlier than I did and completely underestimated the test. Anyways, great post, I really like your advice about the planner. I use a planner and calendar for everything, it is an essential for college. It's great advice for people who will be taking this course too since there are assignments due every week as well as peer reviews.
